Seamless Integration of Remote and Metropolitan Data Centers with IOWN®*
The Ishikari Shinko Site leverages the All-Photonics Network (APN), one of the core technologies underpinning IOWN®, to enable low-latency, high-capacity, and low-jitter communications with data center facilities in Tokyo. This allows the site to operate seamlessly in conjunction with metropolitan data centers despite its remote location, supporting a wide range of next-generation workloads, including AI/HPC infrastructure, disaster recovery, backup, and multicloud environments.

Dual Diverse Network Paths
Dual network paths provide resilient connectivity, enabling continuous communications even in the event of a route or equipment failure. Ideal for mission-critical applications and always-on services.
Carrier-Neutral Connectivity
As a carrier-neutral data center, the facility is not tied to any specific telecommunications provider, allowing customers to select and combine services from multiple carriers. This provides the flexibility to optimize network design based on cost, performance, and redundancy requirements, while also supporting future bandwidth upgrades and additional circuit deployments.
Rack Power
Actual power per rack 10kVA*
Designed for AI and high-performance computing workloads, each rack is provisioned with 10 kVA of standard power capacity, enabling the deployment of modern GPU clusters and high-density server environments while supporting future growth.
・Standard Power Supply: Dual 3-Phase, 4-Wire 415/240V, 30A Power Feeds per Rack
・Additional Power Options: Single-Phase 100V 20A, Single-Phase 100V 30A, Single-Phase 240V 30A, or 3-Phase, 4-Wire 415/240V 63A

Power Supply
100% Renewable Energy with Enterprise-Grade Reliability
The facility achieves 100% renewable energy operation through a combination of on-site PPA generation and renewable energy sourced via the utility grid. Designed with availability equivalent to JDCC Facility Standard Tier 4, it provides the resilience and reliability required for mission-critical workloads, disaster recovery environments, and business continuity strategies.
・Renewable Energy Supply: 100% Renewable Energy Operations through On-Site and Off-Site PPAs
・Power Receiving Configuration: Dual 66kV Extra-High Voltage Utility Feeds (Primary and Standby)
・Emergency Generators: N+1 Redundancy with Up to 48 Hours of Continuous Operation
・UPS: N+2 Redundancy with 10 Minutes of Battery Backup
Disaster Resilience
Strategically Located for Maximum Disaster Resilience
Situated in a geographically stable region of Hokkaido, the facility minimizes exposure to natural disaster risks, including flooding, tsunamis, and seismic events. Combined with a highly resilient building structure and redundant critical infrastructure, the site delivers a robust platform for mission-critical workloads and long-term business continuity.
・Steel Seismic-Resistant Structure (Seismic Frame Design): Minimizes Earthquake Impact and Protects Customer Equipment
・Flood Risk: Located in an area not designated as being at risk of flood inundation.
・Tsunami Risk: Located in an area not designated as being at risk of tsunami inundation.
・Seismic Risk: The probability of experiencing seismic intensity 6-lower or greater on the Japanese seismic scale within the next 30 years is estimated at only 0.1%-3%.
Security Management
・Enhanced Security Through Multiple Authentication Methods
・24/7 Staffed Visitor Access Control
・Biometric Access Control
Remote Hands Support with Live Video Assistance
24-hour staffed entrance system
Two-step verification: Visitors to the data center are screened face-to-face by reception staff and must pass a biometric authentication system at entrance gates. By combining a biometric access control system and a 24-hour staffed entrance, our facility achieves a high level of security.
